THE POWER OF OWNING A BUSINESS—

I believe that your business is more than just a business. It is an extension of your heart, your identities and your values. It's a way to take a stance, to amplify messages for good, to generate joy, offer support, bring hope, to build better futures, and so much more. I believe it's also a practice toward self-love, personal growth, and self-belief. I believe we don't have to sacrifice our health, values, or humanity to succeed.

My vision is that as women of color business owners, we feel spacious and sustainable in our business. That our endevours allow us to create freedom, self-autonomy, wealth, joy, purpose, and be a path towards building fulfilling lives. I've been honored to work with resilient, passionate visionaries, community builders, growth-seekers, impact-drivers, compassionate, and kind entrepreneurs that repeatedly inspire me to continue my work.

These experiences have nurtured my passion for branding as I've experienced the impact that branding can make in one's business. When we step boldly and proudly into our power—as our truest selves, we lead authentically with our hearts through our work, leading us to connect deeper with others and inspire change. I believe when we do this and use our distinct experiences to help others, it humanizes and amplifies our brands, our business, and our message.

MY
STORY—

After growing up in Nicaragua, and spending my teens in Miami, I joined the U.S. Air Force in search for something different. Almost a decade later, I decided to pursue a different path and left the AF to focus the next 4 years getting my BFA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. After many semesters in doubt of whether I would make it, I finally did and got a job at a branding studio in SF where I was able to hone in my skills through large branding and web design projects.

As a multi-disciplinary designer, my expertise lies in brand strategy, branding, web, and print design. Although I enjoyed working in large projects, I felt the most fulfilled working with small business owners looking to take the next leap in their business. So I decided to double down on working with my kind of people—solo Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color business owners who desired not only a fabulous brand but one that wholeheartedly represented their vision.

I'm call myself a question-asker—a curious person driven by self-discovery. It took me a while to realize and accept this as my own superpower. It allows me to dive into the heart of my clients and find the things that make them incredible humans.

Through my process my clients feel so much more connected to their purpose, their brand, and their people. My ultimate desire is for them to feel energized in their business and inspired to use their unique powers to connect with the world on a deeper level so they can make the impact they're after.

I'm passionate about design but the biggest reward is seeing my clients gain clarity, confidence and excitement to easily tell the world who they are and do meaningful work that allows them to live their best lives.

MY GUIDING
PRINCIPLES—

My Why

To encourage curiosity through deeper conversations, so we inspire each other to live more meaningful lives.

My Vision

For women of color solopreneurs to build radical success, freedom, and community through a business that embodies a profound sense of purpose, where they can unapologetically stand in their power.

My Mission

To support WOC in building a highly purposeful, human-centered, and vision-led business and amplify their message so they can be a ripple of goodness in their communities.

To support WOC in building a highly purposeful, human-centered, and vision-led business and amplify their message so they can be a ripple of goodness in their communities.

My Values

01

AUTONOMY

We inherit the power to realize our visions and define our own success. By challenging expectations and breaking from the norm, we can lead unapologetically as ourselves, creating and living in freedom. Building autonomy allows us to live more purposeful and joyful lives and give us the opportunity to lead and inspire others to also realize their dreams.

02

CONNECTION

Building deep connections with clients, colleagues, communities, etc., is nourishment to our business. In my eyes, projects are not a paycheck or a transaction—they're an opportunity to learn and understand someone's heart and desire do build something meaningful for themselves. I believe investing in connections is investing in your business.

03

CURIOUSITY

Allowing ourselves to be curious, opens pathways of opportunities and exploration that may lead to new discoveries. My goal is that through my process, I inspire you to be curios about the why behind what you've done, you're doing and want to do, so you learn and move forward into making intentional and values-aligned decisions for your brand and business.

04

PURPOSE

Aimless efforts lead to wasted resources. Everything you do in your business should have a purpose. Branding is no different. When building a values-led business, it's imperative to establish a long-lasting and meaningful foundation. I guide you in every step of my process to always come back to your purpose and making sure we're always thoughtfully aligned to it.

05

STRUCTURE

Systems are my love language! In order to create a profitable and enjoyable business we need to protect our time. My process reduces branding overwhelm, eliminates confusion, and increase efficiency. I aim for the most easeful experience. I believe a strong yet flexible structure helps us plan and achieve goals and also prepare us to pivot when life gets in the way.

06

COMMUNITY

Being a business owner can be a lonely journey, especially as a woman of color. Community has been a powerful part of my business and has contributed so much to it. I continue to work on building my community of women of color entrepreneurs so we can encourage, inspire, support and help each other thrive in our businesses.
