CLIENT'S CHALLENGE—

Alex had been working on her brand strategy and branding for Human at the Helm on her own for a while but her current brand and website didn’t represent her mission and values. It didn’t feel as human-centric as it needed to be in order to align with the deeper purpose of her business. Tired of DIYing, she realized the value of having an outside perspective with the expertise necessary to help her get the brand where it needed to be, in order for her to reach her business goals.

GOAL & IMPACT—

Alex and I collaborated on the brand strategy together (as she's already a business and brand strategist) to hone in her messaging, positioning and align everything to her mission, values and goals. We refreshed Human at the Helm branding visuals and redesigned the website, bringing back the human element of the brand up front (hence Human at the Helm), ensuring the whole brand experience represents the purpose behind it and the people she wants to serve.

To bring warmth and the human- aspect of Human at the Helm forward through visual elements that feel more personal vs corporate.

THE STRATEGY—

Being a business and brand strategist herself, Alex knew the direction she wanted to take HatH—but the human aspect was missing. The website felt too cold and corporate, and her messaging wasn’t clear or speaking directly to her ideal clients in a more personal way as she wanted. So she needed help to translate her vision into a tangible, verbal and visual brand experience for her ideal clients.

We dove deeper into the brand strategy sessions to highlight the things that needed more refinement and together, we solidified her positioning and messaging. From there we aligned everything with the design and visual direction.
